Pirates Of The Caribbean Themed Bedroom
Ahoy, mateys! Join us on a high-seas adventure as we explore a pirate room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. To kick things off, let's start with a video tour, now available on our YouTube channel, and embedded below:
Even the room number next to the door is pirate-themed.
Inside, everything is designed to make you feel like you're on a pirate ship. All pirate rooms have two double beds.
There's a breakfast table with two chairs. As with most moderates, corner rooms get double windows and because of it, more natural light during the day.
The table resembles a compass.
Most of the furniture is made of dark wood.
The air conditioning unit is even themed to look like a green chest.
The curtains have pirate symbols on the lining.
The dresser looks like a stack of crates you might find on the lower decks of a ship.
The crates are branded with the East India Trading Company logo.
A barrel nearby is actually a mini-fridge. Rooms come with a coffee maker, ice chest, disposeable cups, and assortment of coffee and teas.
Even the carpet is cartographic. This circular design resembles the Mao Kun Map used in the Pirates of the Caribbean films.
The beds resemble ships with sails.
The mattresses are thin, but not uncomfortable.
There are even small cannon portholes on the sides.
The headboard has a torn sail, lanterns, rigging, and a steering wheel.
There's a chest in the corner, perfect for setting suitcases on or sitting on.
Above the chest is a shelf with handles to hang purses or masks from.
The curtain separating the main room from the bathroom has the classic Pirates of the Caribbean skull and crossed swords.
The curtain rod actually has sword hilts on either end.
A painting nearby reminds guests of the finale scene from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, with Captain Jack Sparrow sitting on a throne surrounded by treasure.
Behind the curtain, you'll find an open closet space.
There are hangers, an iron and ironing board, and an extra pillow and blanket. The safe is on the wall to the right.
The sink area may not be as themed as the main room, but there are still subtle pirate touches.
Guests will find Aztec coins on the mirror's frame.
The bathroom has tile that resembles brick.
There's a full-length mirror on the bathroom door.
The shower curtain is covered in different ships from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
The design includes the ship's name and flag.
The bathtub has a small granite bench and built-in toiletries (which are covered in plastic and marked with a "clean" sticker).
