Dulux Bedroom Colours 2019
This is probably the biggest Color Trend Forecast we share of a painting company. Dulux Australia being part of AkzoNobel has revealed a few days ago their take on 2019 colors under the, again, wonderful art direction of Bree Leech.
FILTER is the leitmotiv of next years' Color Forecast by Akzo Nobel and its branch Dulux in Australia. Mindful consumption is a key theme for 2019 and we can expect to see a paring back of the unnecessary and a greater emphasis on repurposing and reimagining objects surrounding us. The result is a new kind of bespoke where the traditions of the past are celebrated in dynamic and modern ways.

Repair, Legacy, Wholeself, and Identity are the four Color Trends for 2019, each addressed towards a different lifestyle connected to different emotions and translated into a palette that comprises 12colors each.

1// REPAIR
This color theme helps us revive our relationship with nature and embrace a more holistic and 'circular' way of living taking into consideration the life cycle of the products we purchase.
Our comfortable, carefree existence begins to fade into the past, as we adopt a wabi-sabi sensibility that appreciates the beauty in faults and flaws, imperfection is not a trend but fully integrated in the design world today.
As we heal our rifts with nature, we fill our spaces with humble and authentic tones, inviting in an interplay of beautiful imperfections. The worn and weathered is reborn alongside the new and modern. Optimism and peace is restored.
